De Finse rockband Apocalyptica brengt hun 7e studioalbum uit, getiteld '7th Symphony.' Net als op de vorige cd ( Worlds Collide), is de band een samenwerking aangegaan met andere artiesten en songwriters. Op de eerste single, 'End Of Me' is Gavin Rossdale (Bush) te horen op vocals, Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo speelt op de track '2010', Flyleaf zanger Lacey zingt mee op 'Broken Pieces' en Brent Smith van Shinedown is te horen in 'Not Strong Enough.' Het album is voor het grootste gedeelte geproduceerd door Joe Barresi (Tool, QTSA, Bad Religion etc). De productie van twee tracks lag in handen van Howard Benson (My Chemical Brothers, Motorhead, Papa Roach).
